Local Business of the Week: Merrimack Auto Center

It can feel like a trustworthy auto mechanic is a rare thing to find. That’s why we feel so lucky to have Chad Tanguay, the owner of Merrimack Auto Center in Merrimack and Nashua, to help us out whenever our vehicles need servicing. Merrimack Auto Center is the epitome of a family-owned business as Chad’s dad, Don, opened shop in 1977. His dad’s ability to keep the residents of Merrimack on the road and safe earned him a respected position in the town. In 1994, after serving in the US Army for 5 years, Chad joined Don in the family business. The greatest attribute he learned from his father - and one Chad is trying to instill in his daughter - is to treat every customer with respect. At Merrimack Auto Center, they strive to be considered a friend by everyone who walks into their shop - not just their mechanic. Chad prides himself in the fact that over the years, he has gotten to know every customer who has come through his doors and will greet them by name upon their next visit.

Local Business of the Week: Generator Pro

The weather is getting chilly and you know what that means...snow storms are coming just around the corner! With heavy snowfall and icing comes downed power lines and a loss of heat in your home for hours or even days. We have seen it time and time again as realtors - frozen pipes that burst and cause expensive water damage. Plus, this year, with many of us working from home - us included - a loss of power means not being able to properly do our jobs. That’s why investing in a generator or having your generator serviced early in the season, before an emergency, is so important. When it comes to this important task we can only recommend the best - Doug Larter at Generator Pro in Nashua.

Local Business of the Week: Denyne Designs

Anyone else feel like their kitchen and bathroom are stuck in the 90s? Remember when “Tuscan” kitchens were all the rage? We used dark wood cabinetry, put up textured golden wall paper, and were in love with the color beige? Yup. We do too. Now we look on Pinterest or watch HGTV and all we can see are white cabinets with muted neutral palettes! How the heck do we turn the spaces we currently have into the beautiful ones we wish we had? That’s where Denyne Designs comes into play. They are experts at kitchen and bath redesign and remodel! They can take your current space and work some serious magic. The company has been around for almost 20 year now, but their founder, Denyne Sanville, has been playing in the world of redesign for much longer than that.
